Hello there my blogger friends.
So are you having design problems with your house? Can't decide which color to paint on your bedroom wall or whether to install wall paper on your toddler's play area? Does your kitchen look cluttered all the time? Is your living space pet friendly? I bet that there is that one spot in your house that you would really like to make-over.
As a special treat to all my blogger friends on this special day, I'll let you ask me anything related to architecture or interior design and I'll answer it through this blog. You may send me the photos of your rooms and I will answer back with my professional tips and helpful designs! Leave your questions on the comment box or through my email address at arch.reena@gmail.com
Happy Thanksgiving!
Much love,
Architect Reena
Wow...such a great special treat...I'm actually planning to find a new place....pero di bongga ha! I'm not the type of person who live in condo or any studio type kc sayang lang ang rent and I dont intend naman to live here in the city for all my life...I still love the laid back life" province" so i stick to room for rent which more price reasonable and with my life style na minsan tulugan ko lang hahahaha! I'm scouting now a new place and I want a bigger room kc dumadami ng ang mga anik anik ko sa buhay! I would really ask for you help if this plan push through and hope my schedule will be good for me...hahaha! and dami kung sinabi lang! hahahah!
ReplyDeleteHaha. I understand what you mean. It's hard to put so much effort on making over a space that does not belong to you. But there are still ways of improving it by just rearrranging your furnitures and fixing your storage spaces. I hope your plan to find a bigger room pushes through! :)
DeleteThis is amazing, architect! I'm sure this will be a great help to others.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have time to rearrange and fix corners of our small abode here in Penang, but because we're always rushing to work and perhaps because we're only renting so we're limited in doing anything like nailing and screwing something on the walls or repainting the rooms. Nonetheless, may this site be successful in extending professional assistance to others! I'll get back to you when the need arise! :)
Thanks Doc! I agree with you. My own space can get too cluttered or neglected too whenever I'm very busy. Stay busy! :)
DeleteHello Architect Reena!
ReplyDeleteI recently moved in to a new apartment. The old sink in the dining area is now covered and painted. What could I use to cover up the whole area so it looks decent and not tacky? Thanks! :)
Bebengisms
Hi Bebeng. Welcome to my design blog. :)
DeleteIt would be great if you could send me a photo of the kitchen especially the sink area. But based on your question, I'd assume that only the sink area was covered and not the entire counter? So I agree with you that it looks a bit tacky.
So I have two suggestions: 1) You can cover the entire counter with a granite or marble stone. 2) You may cover the counter with homogenous counters that are usually available in the hardware depot. I will explain further on my next blogpost.
Thank you for that question. I hope to see you back here soon!
Hi Reena! Congratulations on your new blog. It's nice and generous of you to help people with their design concerns. I'll let you know when I have some questions.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's actually an old blog already. Hehe. I just rarely use it. Thanks for the visit!
